Hurt Fit - needs major body work - help

Hi All,
I had a very unfortunate accident in my 08 Fit (which I love dearly).
I probably looks worse than it is but my front end is smashed pretty bad, kind of looks like the whole thing exploded. Odd thing is the airbag didn't deploy.

Anyway does anyone here know of a GOOD body shop to do the repairs?

And help would be most appreciated.

DS

ouch, sorry to hear about your misfortune.

A friend of mine kinda had the same accident as you. She rear ended a pickup truck and had a lot of repairs done to her car. It looks perfect now, but I think it cost her insurance company over 10k. I was surprised that they didn't write her car off.

She went to Calgary Coachworks in the NE just off Deerfoot and McKnight.

I would reccomend Horton autobody, I have used them in the past and thier work is pretty good. They might be pretty busy this time of year though.

Thanks for the replies,
Will see what my insurance adjuster says and make a decision from there.
While from a safety perspective, it is great that all the energy from the collision was absorbed by the exploding parts, it does mean that I pretty much need an entire new front end, and my research to date is not too encouraging = similar accidents have resulted in the car being written off.

Maybe I should take the opportunity to clean out the engine compartment and stuff the turbo in

You would be suprised how little it takes to write off a car these days, if it look really bad odds are it will be written off.

Should drop a K20 engine in there!
