hey kennyt, any word on the ETA of your Fit? Did you talk to T&T?

 

I just talked to them yesterday, the next shipment is coming but they don't
know the exact ETA. "any day now" is what I was told lol.

 

I guess we're in the same batch. My dealer called me yesterday saying the next batch (my car too) is on a day to day basis.

 

yeah, it's just a wait and be patient game right now.
you would think they'd figure the demand for this car was gonna be this high... geez. Honda America needs to fire their marketers and hire new ones.

They cut Fit production for Civics, which makes sense, since the Fit sold approx 1300 units in Canada last month, while the Civic sold 6500, 5 times the amount.

Waiting lists on Civics are pretty high up there too.

 

Civics...everyone has had or has one :P

I'm still suprised by how long you guys have been waiting for...I went into my dealership and put in a down payment, then next week the car was here!

 

I think someone dropped their deposit on yours... that's my best guess. When my bro told me about ur sweet situation I was like.. wut the heck. But that's the only thing I could think of unless they had one and no one ordered a blue, in which case you are DANG lucky! hehehe.

My salesman said that all the fits coming in already had owners or ppl who left deposits.
Because the one day I came in to check at T&T they had 5 blue Fit Sports sitting all around their backlot.
I figured they were just sitting there and awaiting allocation to other dealerships

 

I was told by the dealer that no one put any money down on that Fit yet, and since I was waiting for a Milano Red one, but they weren't sure when that one would come in, they would put my name on the blue one. So as far as I know, it was unclaimed!
