Calgary & Alberta Fit Owners?
Here's another name to add to the calgary list, but I am not the proud owner of anything yet. I ordered a manual sport from T&T on Aug 12th and I was told that it would be up to 3 months wait. I probably won't be able to get the color that I want, they are just going to call me when a MS comes in.

Why didn't you hit up Crowfoot Honda? Wouldn't they be closer?
Anyways...finally back from my trip to Van! Didn't get a chance to make a stop at AJ tho
Didn't get any goodies for the car either...instead I got a new cell phone haha!

I did go to Crowfoot, however, I liked the reputation of T&T and I was assured there that if anything in the area came in that they would have it sent to their location, not sure if I believe it but I'll find out if they live up to the hype.
have you already put down a deposit?
If not, I'd suggest doing what Illusive said.
I ordered from T&T and honestly felt that they treated me like a second-rate customer so I dinged them badly for their survey.
And their response so far to the survey was crap - I didn't get a phone call from the manager nor the salesman asking if there was anything they could've done better. Instead I get a letter stating "we hope we can do better in the future for you"... pish posh.
I ordered my car on April 1st, didn't receive it til Jun. 3rd - and all the while, I received no updates, I saw 6 blue sports sitting on their lot and they still said that they had none on their lot. They did nothing to give me a build date or anything, I was in the dark and kept hammering them for updates. POOOOR customer service IMHO.
Go with Crowfoot if you can, Illusive had better response from them.
T&T is a volume dearler but didn't seem to care about the quality of their service they offered me. Everyone should be treated equally imho.

like kennyt said, T&T is a volume dealer. They are the biggest in Calgary, but their customer service is quite poor. They will hook you with their initial pitch and attention, but once you put that deposit down, they will leave you in the dark. At Crowfoot, I actually ordered a Milano Red one and they had one in the show room. However, I'm quite picky when it comes to my cars and decided against that one since lots of people have probably been through it. They gave me the option to see other colours as they came in and I could choose one if I decided I like the other ones better. two weeks later I took delivery of a Vivid Blue Pearl Fit! Despite Crowfoot Hondas small size, they are actually quite good. I went in and put a deposit in the second week of April and got my Fit on the last week
When they say if anything comes in and you can look at it, they mean it...not so sure about T&T. If you do head down to Crowfoot again, ask for Lee Gogel. Tell him Justin with the Blue Fit sent you. He will take good care of you! Good luck finding your Fit!

Thanks guys, when I ordered my manual sport at T&T I put a deposit down at the same time, I had been to a few of the dealerships to get a feel for it and I was told the same thing at all of them....3 months, could be sooner if you want the auto. I did get the best service from T&T with Wayne Luong, but like I said I will have to wait and see if he pulls through, after waiting 1 incredibly long month, it would be a shame to go back to the bottom of the list at another dealership. I will let you know how things turn out. Thanks again, should've posted before I put down the deposit.

Cool. I almost got my Fit from Calgary Honda because they had a BOM when I was looking for one, but the salesman was a total @$$hole.
BTW, saw a Black I think Fit Sport behind me today on 64th Ave. heading towards Deerfoot Mall from Centre St. I went straight and they turned left to head Northbound on Deerfoot Trail...anyone on this board?!?!

i've seen quite a few Fit in calgary, sport that is. i've seend a black one @ 12ave. center st. TD branch. and an orange one @ sunrige costco. and few time black one on the road. maybe its the same black fit??
3month wait on a Fit Sport? That seems a bit excessive to me. Dealership here in RD has 3 Fit Sports in now. 1 Red (manual), BOM (auto) and a SSM (auto). They did have a black (auto) the other day but I think it had sold when I went there today to check out a 06 Civic Si. They had several other models (non Sports) in too. The red manual has been on the lot for many weeks now, I took it for a testdrive over a month ago. Definitly a fun car but not exactly what I was looking for. So I put a deposit on a 07 Civic Si coming in November instead.

Wow that is the first available manual I have heard of that hasn't been claimed yet. AT is easy to come by anywhere I think, especially in Calgary, but MT's are super rare...
Hi!
Hi everyone, good to see some folks from Calgary on this forum!

I'm lookin into getting a FIT soon. I like the silver storm metallic, maybe the VBP.
One question, what do you all experience with the clearance of the Sport for speed bumps, steep driveways and potentailly in winter? Does anyone know the cleranace for the Sport?

Yeah, it's been on the lot here for a while too, like I said. I test drove it around the begining of August (during that terrible hailstorm, looked like it had snowed here + flooded streets) and who knows how long it was here before that. It only had 35km when I drove it but I'm sure it must be getting close/over 100km now. I'm actually shocked it hasn't sold yet either as when I was at T&T a week ago they said they had a waiting list for Sport manuals and had been trying to find/bring them in from all over Western Canada.. Apparently they didn't check RD? Price is MSRP I believe so I don't think it's that either.

Weird, thanks for bringing it to our attention, maybe someone on the forum who is waiting for one will jump on it!
As for speed bumps. I haven't had mine scrape yet, but my friend has a steep driveway in a sloped culdesac (sp?) and its not a problem going up, but for some reason, even if I angle down the same way I go up, just as my last tire comes off of the driveway, I can hear the scrape...I just park on the street now haha...
BTW I saw 3 other Fits today parked in James Short Parkade...anyone on this board?!?!

Well, I took the time to go into T&T yesterday to find out anything I couldn't over the phone. I was told that I am next in line....sweeeeet, currently they have 8 fits on the lot, all autos, 4 sports. I would jump on the one in Red Deer if red was one of my choices. Still good service so far.
