Sorry man, I was in a rush to get home I was screwing with my XM at the light, and didn't really notice until I started to turn, your Fit caught my eye and I had to take a look in the side mirror to confirm

Wings one night sounds good to me, anyone got any preferred locations?

LOL, no worries! It is always cool to see what other people are doing with their rides

Wing Night sounds cool, great idea! What location and date are you thinking?

By chance has anybody see a spring kit designed to stiffen up the suspension without dropping it, I noticed some light rubbing with my wheels over bumps if I have more than 2 ppl or any loading over 200lbs in the hatch. Any tips or suggestions would be helpful.

Cheers!

Hmmm I don't think I've seen any spring kit that doesn't drop the car...I think the rims you have are the same size and offset as mine...+42 right? either way, I was worried that my tires would rub, I finally had an instance where it did yesterday, but that was because I was taking corners at 50-60km/h and hit a stupid manhole that was sticking up a bit. Other than that, I haven't had any rubbing problems, not even on deerfoot or any other road...you need to do some serious driving to get the tires to rub with the Eibach Pro Kit...regular city driving has yielded no rubbing at all...

Yeah I have the same offset on my rims.

I don't have any rub problems at all until I load stuff or extra people into the car. Have you had a chance to see if any rubbing occurs when you load up your ride with some extra people?

Yeah I had problems before loading up the back with people and going over a bump...the tires would rub against that stupid bracket. I shaved as much off as I could, but I haven't tested it out yet.

The +42 will still create some rubbing. I've got a customer with a set of +45mm 16x7 wheels coming in and he reports no rubbing with people in the rear. I won't be able to confirm this until sat but i think anything lower that 45 we are pretty much screwed.

I don't like putting my car at risk, I've seen and heard about too many accidents in that small parking lot...

Small Parking Lot + Young Naive Azn Kids = Accident

Hey who here already had a cracked foglight lens? I think it was Yeefit, but I'm not too sure...anyways PM me about it, I might be interested in the housings, so maybe we can split the costs for the LX foggies...if they fit like they do on the sport model I'd be down...

Well I am going to try installing a Tanabe GF210 spring kit to stiffen things up enough to stop the rubbing, it has a much higher spring rate and lowers the car only 0.9" in the rear.

LOL, I have no idea if this is going to work or not Wish me luck!

and i run the crap out of it with the 45 offset..no issues what so ever...and the cars balance is restored...moving from the 42 offset wheels(now on my son's civic) is best thing i ever did for this quick little go-cart that seats 4! see you in the morning Jonathan!
