Honda Dealership reviews for GVRD or Lower mainland?

Hello,

A friend of mine is looking to buy a Honda Fit, new or pre-owned. Any suggestions or recommendations for a particular dealership ? Is there a thread on this topic? Thanx

The Honda fit is a popular vehicle, so popular that some dealerships don't have any on the lot (I never see them at Kingsway Honda). You are not going to get any amazing deal on it but definitely ask for at least FREE all season floor mats, or a cargo tray. Also shop it around, ask the first dealership to give u free mats, then go to the next dealer and say you wan mats and a cargo tray, etc... Richmond Honda sells a LOT of cars so don't expect a crazy deal there.. You can msg Rick@Honda on these forums he is a salesman there and might be able to hook you up. Otherwise I heard Vancouver and Middlegate Honda is okay. Personally I don't like Carter Honda at all.

Also WHITE and PURPLE are the new colous for 2008, so maybe you want to try and get one of those to be different from the 2007 crowd.

Visited several Honda dealerships in lower mainland during the Fit search of 2007.

Middlegate, stall, stall, stall, stall, left

North Burnaby Good sales people, but no Fits at the time

Richmond Was told could drive any vehicle on the lot, except the Fit. Guy stuck his nose in the air and walked away. Almost bought a diesel Jetta at the VW dealership was so pissed off.

SW Marine Drive. Found it. Although a demo. Really helpful staff before the sale, but kind of a lack luster attitude after the sale. Like thank goodness that car is off the lot. They even suggested I didn't take the vehicle to them for service. First time I heard that from a car dealership. Nice people in finance department though.

Hi there. I know im nowhere near the Vancouver area but I find it amazing that it is tough to find a Fit. My local dealer has about 8. 2 white LXs, 2 Blue LXs, a SSM LX, 2 Black LXs and a red sport. I guess Fits arent as popular here as they are in BC.

Surrey Honda was awesome for me. No bullshit or anything, pretty great treatment/service so far. I got my floor mats and cargo net at employee cost (which wasnt' a huge savings but whaetver), I guess taht's cool, even though I've now found there's a dealership in ontario which sells at factory cost, which is way cheaper (I think shophonda365.com was the URL). ANYWAY, so they didn't budge on the price at all, but they also didn't try to **** me over with anything, either. Just usual sales pitches on like, paint coating, body undercoat, some kind of fabric spill preventing stuff... My dad bought a civic from them in the early 90s and also always thought they were great. Anyway, just my $0.02 . It's all the way out in surrey but the head guy was telling me people come from all over the GVRD cuz the dealership gets such good reviews (of course he WOULD say taht, he runs the place )

BTW my car only took a week to get to me, even though they anticipated a 2+ week wait because they didn't have any on hand. The Fits are selling like mad, there was only like one, or maybe two NHBP Fits in GVRD when the sales guy was checking inventory when I bought mine back in the beginning of December.
