2009-2010 Honda Fit Recall.

Honda Canada recalls 14,640 Fit models - The Globe and Mail

thought you guys should know about this if you haven't heard or read about it yet. call that number and see if you Fit is affected by this. i know i am=(

anyone know if i need to go completely stock when i take it into honda to get it fixed? i just have an axle back, intake, lowered and little mods here and there.

Our letters here in the states go out March 7th, that's what the Honda rep told me on the phone...I actually hope I don't get one!

if you don't get the letter, does it mean your car is good? no recall
don't really know how the system works here in Canada

Best way is to call one of your local dealership and let them run your VIN# to check. In case the mail didn't get to you for some reason.

Btw don't worry guys. It's not a bad thing if there's recall on your car. Nothing is perfect. At least they found the problem and fixing that for you at no cost.

Microsoft windows have tons of updates too.......
