Thanks for the pictures.
Bring them to Autocross at Aloha Stadium lower parking lot on July 13.
You only can drive one per event and you can do fun runs at the end of the day about 330pm for $1 per run.
Then you can see what each car can do on a course set up to test your potential.
Usually first time drivers sign up in the morning about 7am to 730am first come first served. Then study the course and watch others then break for lunch and walk the course again before driving in one of the afternoon heats. Heat 4 is the preferred time for novice drivers since other experienced drivers can serve as instructors for any or all of your runs in that first event. You get four tries to do your best clean time. 2 second penalty for every cone hit out of it's location and runs can be from about 30 to 45 seconds for veterans.
Competition is keen and top places can be decided by 0.002 seconds.
You don't have to change anything about your cars, drive as is but remove all things not bolted down like mats, cargo covers, spare tire and tools, rear view wide mirror and anything loose in the interior.
Your class will depend on which mods you have added. Any Turbo or supercharger added to increase boost? If so then it would be Street Modified for either. Otherwise you could be in Street Touring (street tires only) or Street Prepared.

Here is Mark P. on the right with his top finishing Acura Integra (highest overall for Hondas)
Finished 1st in D Street Prepared out of 13 drivers in class, 8th overall out of 112 for raw time and 5th overall with handicap for his class- this compares all drivers for the day. He's very experienced and usually consistently contending for top 10 each event.

To give you an example of others, the 7th overall was a veteran driver in a highly modded Subaru WRX STi and the 9th place driver was another top veteran in a highly modified Camaro both with race tires. The difference in time for these three drivers was 0.18 seconds total or about 1/2 the blink of an eye.

For the best novice driver finish, Don T. was driving his Mitsubishi Evo 8 and came in 4.5 seconds after Mark in 76th place overall on raw time and 81st on handicapped time in B Street Prepared class (highly modified).

As for new cars there was BMW 135i with 300 miles on the odometer and paper plates in showroom stock form that finished 95th overall on raw time and 77th on handicap in F Stock class.

Three S2000s ran in A Stock highest finishing 67th on raw time and 63rd with handicap.
So you can appreciate how well Mark did with his Integra.

On my way home today...I saw another SSM Sport today. Like always though...I didn't even notice there was another Fit behind me...until it passed me.
It had JDM visors, red H-emblem in the rear (didn't see the front...but probably had the red fronts too). But it also had the side markers (turn signals?). That's the 1st Fit I saw with those. Nice. Tried to follow & maybe give 'em the thumbs up or howzit, but up by Mililani I decided to continue home instead. Would've been nice to chat. If you're on FitFreak...nice Fit and howzit!
