New Car Inspection?

When a new car is delivered to the dealership what has to take place before it can be sold/driven?

Normally, removal of any protective plastic wrap, fluids filled or checked, washed and detailed, then quick walk around.

My dealer gave a checklist that they went through, basically a function check of pretty much normal operation of the lights, wipers, radio, ventilation/ac, tire pressure and a few others.

they remove cosmoline from the hood as well. not sure why they put so much of that crap on the car.... i know it travels overseas but do they really need that much on there?? lol

You ought to clean it on a Mosin/Nagant. Took me 2 plus hours to get that rifle clean of cosmoline.
