Proper Terminology Usage

Just for your information: "RPM" stands for "REVOLUTIONS PER MINUTE", so therefore it makes a person seem uninformed when they refer to "rpms" A small thing, perhaps, but now you know, & knowledge is power!

except it is an acronym, so it's ok to refer to it as pural isn't it?

I think the only people who don't know what RPMs are, are people who drive automatic or drivers of older cars because both groups don't pay attention to it. I doubt most people don't know what RPM is an ancronym for revolutions per minute, because the terminology "RPM" is used everywhere.
