This is not accurate. Go to the member list and go by join date and you will come up with plenty of members that have been members for three years and have ZERO.

 

If you look at the post that robwahoo shared with us a few pages back the system will give you a rep point for every year on FF. We can only figure that they got neg repped in the past and it screwed everything up for them.

 

Its true there are more variables at play, like neg reps and if you have even bothered to post in the past...stuff like that. Indeed you should go read some of this past thread as it should help clear that up for you too.
We have also seen quite a few people who this has worked for. Thanks though for trying to investigate and have fun or for just keeping the thread bumped. It's appreciated.

 

I'm working towards as many rep points as admin on this forum hahaha...I'm at 6 now, but I'm <100 posts from +1 and <1 month from another +1 and 31 reps from another +1...so if I can get all of this by the end of April, I'll be skimming the surface at 9! REP ME!!

 

Shout you better put that power to good work then and REP US!!. haha. On a side note im pretty close to 4. I dont know how or why. I was at no rep a couple months back but either you guys like me or im a loser and you guys are trying to make me feel good.

I want to thank you for your kind concern and appreciation about where and when I post but let me assure you I have read every post in this thread (and all other threads ) and never noticed you pointing out this incongruity in the conditions needed to get the next point so I just wanted to clear up any misunderstanding.

The point I was trying to make was that some members should not be sitting around counting the days until their next point is added at their anniversary date because it MAY NOT be awarded unless they have meet other criteria needed.

hahaha, nah u dont need rep 3 to post here. shoot infact a lot of us only had like 1 to begin with until we got the new system to work. Now it seems everyone is going super high on reps.

 

Haha. No most of us started at 0 or 1 and just went up from there. We are just having fun and trying to help everyone understand the rep system. Anyone can post in here. Oh yea and i gave you a little help to get to 3. Good luck.
