Hey snap Fit i couldnt rep you today. I actually maxed out for 24 hours on repping. You can only rep ten people a day. You can read post 78 if you want to read the full post. Im to lazy to repost it all. sorry.

 

I did happen to read that, but I thought it had more to do with TOOL and I as being previously repped by you and not the 10 rep limit per 24hr period.

or were you just not able to rep anyone anywhere after 10reps???

 

I already rep'ed you. It must have fallen off when someone else rep'ed you.

still,,havent got clearly to understand how repping works other than giving them out. Im still getting new reps and goddamn thing says im only 20 points and rep power:2

1. Congrats on the new rep title!
2. I am coming believe that rep power (visible rep) is the number of rep points you give when you rep someone...
3. I also believe that rep power has a fractional part, but that it only displays the whole numbe, not the fraction. Thus when I (0 rep power) repped you earlier today your rep appeared to be unchanged, however I actually gave you .1 rep raising your rep total from 20.3 to 20.4, but this did not show when I repped you because it only becomes apparent when your rep goes from 20.9 to 21.0.

 

When you rep ten people in 24 hours it will stop you and say that you have maxxed on reps and cant rep again for 24 hours. I was repping everyone so that i could rep you when i said i was going to. Everytime i repped someone i would go back to yours and it would say spread the wealth so i would rep someone else and try again. I kept doing it until i hit 9 and then again it said i needed to spread the wealth so when i repped the tenth person i tried again and then it said that i couldnt rep anymore for 24hours. It said the same thing for TOOL and wouldnt let me rep him either. It still isnt letting me rep yet but in a few hours it should and i will try to rep you again and see what it says.

When you repped me earlier today did you approve of the post or dissaprove? It showed up that you repped me but my rep counter is still at 4 and the tic tac is showing grey instead of green. Im not sure what that means. Anyone have any idea?

 

It means he's new. If he neg rep'ed you it would show red. Gray simply means he has no rep to hand out yet.

 

That makes sense but why wouldnt my rep counter go up? If it shows up that he repped me but no number increase. Thats where im really lost. When i repped you did it show up green or was it grey and also did your rep counter go up?

 

I don't know. Someone rep'ed me right after you, so yes my points went up by 2, but I don't know how many people it took to do that.

 

Mine was stuck at 16 for ages. I would get good rep from people but it would stay at 16. Now im at 18 and ive gotten plus repped 3 times at 18 and its still 18..Strange?

Yea i dont get it either but atleast we are trying to figure it out. Tyler you have 4 rep power you dont need to worry about is as much as the 0 rep power guys. We feel bad. LOL!!!
