Better for the Highways thats for sure! I used to downshift to 4th to get better speeds but I can just leave it in 5th and it will still pick up. I use a stock clutch. I'll probably readjust the pedal here soon. I have 28k miles on my car so my clutch worn a little. It still feels good, just when its cold, second slips when going full throttle. It's at 7psi right now just a little over. But I haven't dyno'd the car since my 6psi. 28-32mpg, the way I drive(fast). Amazing what only 57whp more hp does to this car.

bluecell, i dont know if your car does this but mine starts sputtering after 125mph. kinda weird but im sure the car doesnt like having the wastegate fully open for that long :x

 

I haven't gone past 110mph. When I hit that, the gas shuts off. Something with the emanage?

Yea, I'll try again when I feel like it. 110 was kind of disappointing. I had 3 others in the car too ;x

 

hmm thats weird. thats probably whats happening to me too. totally feels like my car is running out of go juice.

 

Did you happen to notice what your RPM's were at? I'm pretty sure you were near redline.

Yea because last I looked, at like 110, there wasnt much gear left. So 125 is our max no matter what because we have no more gears lol.

 

So work has been busy today! I think it's from all the people getting away from the Hurricane down south.

 

does the ecu have some kind of speed governor or 5th gear really maxes out at 125?

yeah hurricanes = horrible

 

when i got up to 125 it didnt seem like i hit a governor or a rev limiter, it seemed like my car was sputtering because of lack of gas.

 

*shrugs I just know that our gears are really short. I haven't been able to take it that high yet. I don't know where the RPM stands at 125mph, but I'm sure it's quite close to 6k.
