work...blah! i almost cry myself to sleep at night knowing i have to come in

currently in a love hate relationship with work because planning a gala dinner for 400 employers special guest friends and family happening on oct 23rd.

its down to the wire and i am stressed out working on this project myself.

Just another day in the office!!! This week so far has been normal!!!! hahaha

 

Just when I though things could not get any more annoying at work, the coworker nearest me is listening to house music through headphones sitting on his desk turned all the way up because it cant reach to the area which he is currently working. UGH!

 

The physician I work for has decided to retire as on 12/31/08 - he is 66 and about time he slows down some. However the hospital who is actually my employer is not sure they will have a job once we close the office. If they do have a job it might be for a severe cut in pay. I am praying for a better job or at least one that will allow me to take care of my family. Really bad time to be unemployed since the economy is tanked.

i think too many days off sucks. i was bored come sunday.
surprisingly i was looking forward to going to work.
but when i woke up this morning, i didnt want to go to work anymore.

i didn't feel like going to work monday and i didn't feel like coming today

i drink coffee to get me into the work mood but even after i drink a cup i still don't feel like working lol

 

i dont feel like working today. and first thing when i came is my boss was asking me to do some stupid shit that she should be able to do in excel. took all of 15-20 minutes. shorter than the time it took her to explain it to me. :\
i need a new job.

 

^LOL. Just do it. Beats having to do harder jobs. Easy stuff=easy pay.

 

Yeah, but easy come=easy go.

I quoted a fairly large job this AM, about a week's pay in a day.

Then I had another rush call.

I was home by 11:15AM so that I could call my wholesale distributor and find-out about the availability on the major-moola parts I have to order.

BTW, I'm a self-employed locksmith.

Been at it for 20ish years.

My office is my truck and my phone is always on, so, even when I'm off, I'm on.

 

i got work today from 6am to 7pm. makin bank!!!
