I'm not a (traditional) sports fan at all, but the Olympics are a different deal. It's the worlds best, not Chicago v.s. Utah. Phelps is a freakin' machine!

I made this the other night as a joke.

Have any of you been watching the gymnastics or diving? Jamaica just took some medals tonight in track, which I think is pretty cool.

The dives tonight were really good. The US Fem diver that was doing her last dive, I was really hoping she could get a medal.

Don't be too sad though. The Chinese run the athletes the same way the run there industrial shops. They are effing amazing in gymnastics & diving, but I'd really rather not experience the training camp.

fark yeah, (it was China btw that owend it), that last girl was 15(?). She nailed it, but Canadia snagged a medal I believe. After that we watched Jamaica (w00t) dominate the track relay, then we got bored and turned to Burn Notice (meh, I'm drawing anyway so whatever.)

It is a great event. I'm near enough to Chicago that I REALLY want us to get the games. It has nothing to do with Chi-town pride (which I do have), but more to do with the fact that it would help us get a better public transit system from town to town. My lady and I were talking about it tonight and I brought up the idea of 1. all the U.S.athletes and fam. 002 All the U.S. fans. 003 Hmmm...001 + 002 + THE REST OF THE WORLD!

end...bed = now. worky - I need to get the fark b
