I rode road bicycles for many years, and rode centuries into my 40's. In recent years an old knee injury has kept me closer and closer to home. I reinjured the knee over the winter, so I've been off to a slow start this season. I'm still riding the same 20 year old Schwinn that I've had since '89-the last year of Schwinn production in Chicago.

Cool forum. Just got my sparkly purple '09 Fit Sport w/ Navi a week ago. I was looking for something that was small, yet could fit two bikes inside without too much disassembly. This car fit the bill.
I bike a bit, singlespeeding on dirt, and fixie on the road when the trails are too muddy. As far as whips go, I mix it up between a Matt Chester Mutinyman, Jones SpaceFrame, and a Surly Steamroller regularly. I have a few more bikes in reserve
I already ordered a Thule Helium bike rack and I'm trying to decide which brand hitch to get. I'll do more reading on this forum, but for those hitcher-bikers reading this, which brand do you like?

just picked up a viiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiintage centurion road bike. looks like a pos but rides so nice. i plan to commute to work on it when i swap saddles on my bikes. puttin a brooks on it.
yeah, it seems like a decent bike to start on. i don't know that much about cannondale's frames, but i would just test it out. If you like the way it rides, and it's not too heavy, then go for it. Maybe you can haggle a little bit.
