Thumbs up Then it got better

To do this it's about a 12 hour job. I wouldn't recomend 100 degree garage to do this project in. lol.
Take the plastic strips and leave them on the old carpet what a PITA to deal w/ reusing them. I did on the driver's side but on the pass. side I just used screws. I will be finishing up later this weekend.

DANG! That's on my bucket list! '69 Camaro, Challenger, Mach I, Formula 400... good year... to burn premium... that was when chewing gum wrapper and sand paper took you a long ways...

Man U got motor oil running through your veins... A six pack and some steak, and you're talking engine rebuild bud! Wish I was Bob your neighbor!

Thumbs up New Rear Brakes

Thanks Soob, yep we'd be hav'n a big time if you where here!

Here's 2daze update!

Finished the 69 Camaro for the moment and we added a water separator in Bob'g garage.
Did up the rear brakes and they were a wreck, leaking worn out junk but still stopped the civvy.
Did not get the carpet done but that's why God makes tomorrows for most of us

Thanks Chad it was alot of hidden work I was not expecting. Carpet attachment strips and just general cleaning of everthing pulled out. I had the pedal set the last owner had installed then I repainted. But w/ the new carpet they looked tacky. So Rock Auto to the rescue both pads w/s/h 8 bucks. and looks better.

Drove her to work today and @ lunch and then over to my freind's house to change out a water heater and then met the family for dinner out. Loved every mile, this is a cool car and it's even more fun cus it ain't a pile anymore it's really becoming a lil classic, okay that only in the world of hondas. lol.

Looks great. I love those rock auto deals too. You know I had to rip the whole interior out of the omni when I got it to clean out the mouse terds. I feel your pain.

That interior reminds me of my 1984 Accord. Non-power steering that car has was nice. 3 barrel carb+ 16 gal tank. Got better mileage than the Fit. Fit reminds me a lot of that car.

Resprayed the back bumper

So the Nappa bumper paint was good on the metal parts but did not stay on plastic. So what will bond to an old plastic bumper? Spray on truck bed liner. It flexs with the expanding and contracting the plastic goes through on a 80-105 degree day, and it is tuffer than paint. So this is the finished bumper.
Yep I know the .50 cent type r sticker that's for the future jdm 1.6 dohc drivetrain, haha
