Thanks primarily to the article posted a few months ago with the Fit on the most common fatal collisions list, the wife is no longer happy with me driving kids around in "that stupid tiny car, it's like a coffin."

I'm not really complaining, because who doesn't like to go car shopping. But, I'm done modifying the Fit after realizing how much more power the Civic has, how much better the brakes are, and how they really took advantage of the longer wheelbase in suspension tuning. The only thing the Civic lacks is cargo room. Unfortunate that they don't make an Si hatch, but it's still fantastic. Mine is a 2018, didn't want the new shorter final drive.

And yet, somehow the Fit is still just as much fun to drive. Honda did better work on this thing than they bargained for.

 

Not sure if you have a different year, but the 10th gen Si here has the 1.5l turbo motor. Doesn't have as much character as a high revving NA motor, but definitely strong power.
