Seized Bolts to Anticipate?
I am planning some suspension bushing work for a 1991 Civic that is
driven in salty roads in the winter. I replaced the dampers and springs
last summer, and it was a lifesaver to have been warned that the damper
mounting bolts for the rear dampers are often seized. This car is my
daily driver and I am trying to anticipate if I should buy any bolts
from the dealer as insurance before I attempt the work based on others'
experience.

I would spray everything down with a good penetrating oil the night before
and just replace what needs replacing when you take everything apart.

halo2 guy,
Great advice--keep up the great work. It was better than the advice that I
was going to give.

True -- I find Cloil works well where WD40, etc doesn't seem to help at
all.
