My honda has CodeAlarm installed when it was bought in 1990. I just
find out yesterday that something is wrong with it. The theft
prevention lock (electro lock) does not "on" when I tried to
start. I have to press the 6 wires connection to electro lock
make sure it's on to start the car. This add to anther starting
problem. Not only that the alarm also causes some other power problem.
I need to remove this alarm. Do you think it's possible
to remove by myself?

sure. disconnect the battery, and have at it.
