i'm trying to do some frugal theft prevention on my 2009 fit. i think a wheel lock with an alarm that went off when someone started fiddling with it (the wheel lock itself, not the car) would be a pretty good deterrent. (it'd be particularly great if the alarm was so loud it caused hearing loss in the potential thief.)

anyone know of a setup like this or a way to hack such a thing? i don't really have $300 to spend on a viper alarm.
