My first car was a Ford Escort. Believe me, Ford takes the cake when it comes to crappy cars. ;)

 

That Nissan is the ugliest thing on 4 wheels, IMO.

I'm always partial to VW, but I doubt the Polo will ever come here. VW is trying to move up in class (BMW, MB, etc.) and the need for a sub-compact is not there. An example of this, The Phaeton, New Jetta (All Grown up).

The new Golf should be just under $17K and loaded. VW is always overpriced, I can't see them going any lower than the Golf in the States.

I agree though, I would be all over a TDI Polo GT.
