lol are u high? the evo 8 and 9 are two of the best cars in the world. what other car can u pick up for 18 19 grand drop 6 grand and run consistent low 11 passes (sometimes high 10s) ,and then go to a road corse and tear up the corners. people who have never owend or driven evo's always talk shit cuz they just dont know what a fantastic well balanced car it is.

Yea my VIII was at 330awhp before i had to get rid of it. They are great cars but cost alot to maintian. We will see how my S2k holds up i don't think it could cost that much to maintain do to it should just need oil change and tires. As of today i am not sure i made the right choice i filled her up at half a tank and did the math and got 13.2mpg. I thought i could get in the 20s with her. i Know sports cars and good mpg don't mix but i thought mid 20s would have been good.

haha, i'm definitely an evo "hater" mainly because i was stupid and sold mine. my evo 9 made 330whp on a mustang dyno(!) with 1. an open element intake and 2. 3" exhaust with a high flow cat. no other power mods. frankly, it was silly. and the car with only the spare removed weighed 3200 lbs. and pulled 1.2g (peak) on street tires.

honestly, the only things that my car ever needed was oil changes. all the additional maintenance and the prices i paid (pricey brake pads, two piece rotors, fluid changes in the drivetrain, tires) were by choice and not need. it is the least expensive supercar ever.

have fun in the S2K man, not every car you drive has to be perfect. there was a cool article in automobile mag, march 09, titled "the joy of slow" where the author makes reference to the Fit as the definitive "Slow Car" which he defines as "its ability to engage and entertain drivers at speeds that won't inspire the highway patrol to scramble a squadron of interceptors." the S2K ain't slow but you know first hand that evos go zero to illegal in about 5 seconds of WOT and that puts a limit on the quantity of fun. and you can slide that car around at lower speeds than an evo.

i'm gonna have fun the M3 for a little longer. but i can't wait to f-up some very expensive cars at my local road course again in an evo.

Give it a while its brand new. I remeber when we had our 07 WRX the first 3000 miles where brutal for gas mileage around 13-15 mpg. When we got rid of it with 10,000 miles it was averaging 20-25 mpg.

E85 fuel...amazing stuff for turbo'd cars. Comparable to using 105 octane race gas and its much cheaper.

Hopefully a E85 station will show up this year closer to home so I can use it for my Evo VIII. Then its 400+whp here I come! Woot!
