Fit vs Aerio?

I've seen comparisons between fit & xA, xB, Caliber, etc...

But you know I've always thought that a comparable vehicle, in terms of exterior size and appearance, would be the Aerio SX.

Your thoughts?

I think that a lot of people will be drawn to the Fit becuase of its efficiency. They may be similiar in appearence, but the Fit gets way better gas mileage. Then again, if you care more about engine size and power, the Aerio easily surpasses the fit. I think they appeal to two different kinds of buyers.

Its funny that this topic got brought up. I have an Aerio and Im jumping ship to the Honda Fit ( should be here the first week in June). The Aerio has served me well. The only bad thing about the Aerio is the lack of aftermarket support and the lack of trade in value

Here is a picture of what mine looks like.

May I ask why else (if there are any other reasons) you are deciding to jump ship? I'm deciding between the Fit and Aerio actually, which is why I brought up the topic. Current the Aerio seems to be cheaper with the Suzuki rebate, but then again it's also slightly uglier imo, and of course as brek said the mileage isn't as good as the Fit.

Im averaging 32-35 mpg right now, it also cost me $33.00 to fill up tonight. Hit me up on AIM at SLOZUKI2003 to talk more about it if you want

I actually think that the Aerio is a pretty damned good looking hatch, as these things go. I like yours with the dark wheels.

Anyway, how's the reliability been? I don't know much about newer Suzuki's in that department, but they've never really had a bad reputation, per se.

I had an AerioSX just last month before I was hit by an 18wheelr and it was totaled.. here are a few pics..

I really like the car alot especially with the digital gauges for the 04' the HP was there when you needed it/wanted it.. and even though i never got to the 1st oil change with the car it held up to all the abuse I put it though.. *not much* but I never had any compaints I always got looks when driving around since there aren't to much of them around but this year is the last year of the Aerio so the dealerships are offering alot of rebates and things so if thats what your looking for go for it, nice hp and looks to so great of mpg or aftermarket support like the fit has for both..
