Edmund's Jetta TDI vs. Prius
2009 Toyota Prius Hybrid vs. 2009 Volkswagen Jetta TDI Comparison Test
When I compare our Fit to the Jetta, even though I know they're in different classes, I can't help but point out that the Fit:
A. Has 5 cu ft more overall room.
B. Gets at least as good MPG.
C. Handles at least as well.
D. Accelerates as well.
E. Has better resale.
F. Costs thousands and thousands less.
G. Way better reliability.
H. Will save you way more at the pump since you don't have to pay diesel prices.

Heh it's funny because I remember just a few years back when diesel was still cheaper than regular gas. I'd go for a Fit over a VW anyday. i'll admit though, I do kinda like the look of the new golfs, but Fits are by far more eye catchy
You also forgot point F:
F. The fit is more awesome.
I'm not 100% sure of this, but I'm going to make the educated guess that it's easier to work on a honda than it is a VW, and parts are cheaper, as well as the availability of third party parts.
