No More Fit, My 09 WRX with Dyno

I though I would post this up. I used to have an 07 Milano Red Fit with T1R header, T1R Intake, Skunk2 exhaust and Volk Te37 TA. I do kinda miss the Fit it was kinda my 1st real car. My 2 cars before were an 85 Blazer and a 93 BMW 325i m/t but was expensive to fix and had problems so I saved up and put a down payment on a Fit. This is the car that sparked my interest in modding etc... After 1 year and 4 months I wanted more power and had money again for another down payment. The Subie dealership paid the Fit off and gave me a little extra $$$ towards the 09 WRX. I loved my Fit, that that is why I am this forum posting up.

The mods I had on it have changed since this dyno but it had a turbo back exhaust, intake, and bigger top mount intercooler.

I'm looking trade mine in for an 09 WRX (wagon) also, just waiting for a decent down. Which dealership did you go to and how much did they give you for your trade in and how much did you put down?

What MPG have you been getting? I read that some get around 27-29+MPG shifting below boost. :3

I went to Puente Hills Subaru. I got one of the 1st Satin White Pearl Sedans they had, so it was harder to get a deal because it was the only one within 200 miles. I had called every dealership I could to see who had that one. Sticker at the time was $26,000. Out the door tax license etc I paid 26,000. They gave me like $13,xxx for they fit. I had 22,000 miles on it. I put 5,000 down.

My MPG has been between 18-22 It is really hard to stay out of boost though :)

Thanks for the info! I got to test drive one (Satin White Premium) a few months ago and almost bought it, but I lack a minimum $3000 down and they quoted my 09 Fit Sport w/ only less than 2500 miles for only $12,000 which is a JOKE! Thats why I didn't bother going through with the deal, if I didn't have to put a down then I probably would have agreed with the deal.

I'll have to try a different dealership next time. I definitely want Satin White (Premium) like yours but I prefer wagon/hatch. :P

Post some pics! :3

These cars are awesome. A full exhaust and tune has made more than 50whp and 60wtq which is crazy. I would say my car is as fast as most on the street

Welcome to Subaru...TBE and a tune already? You move fast, but to each their own. A couple forums of note would be NASIOC, i-Club, ClubWRX, and WRX Tuners...lots of great info on tuning your car.

Congrats on the WRX - our other car is an Aspen white 08 WRX STI. Mileage between 22-23 mpg, not too bad!

Ya I love my boost. I am on nasioc and 3gwrx but I will look into the others because 3g is pretty dead.

That makes a huge difference, I have been up in the 27-30 mpg range but I can never drive nice long enough for it to last for a whole tank.

The more and more I see those STI's they are growing on me because I have seen some really nice ones, especially the white ones.

I know what you mean, ever since I started modding (about 5k miles ago), I've been in boost a lot.

Yeah they ARE really nice, they've started to grow on me too, but I still love my generation's and the bugeyes!

i just saw a white 09 sedan pass by on sunday (6/28) when i was walking my dog. what are the chances it could've been you? LoL! it was on the corner of Saticoy and Winnetka in the valley. it fits your description perfectly. i remember hearing the throaty grumble from about a block away so i turned my head to watch it pass by (i <3 subies) and i was surprised to see that it was an 09 sedan! the first 'modded' one i've seen since its release.

man oh man, i would trade my GD in for an 09 wagon in a heart beat but i know i can't afford the insurance. especially with my wifey (she drives an 02 sedan in WRB) not working right now :(

great choice with the subie!! i'm in for pics
