Next-Gen Ford Focus

Some of you might hate the focus, but I have a soft spot for it. It was the first brand new car that I got. In fact I had two of them. It had great driving dynamics, but the engine sucked. The interior was great looking, but it's a personal choice. So when they did a refresh on the skin, it looked terrible and hated it. Then when they decided to redesign using the same platform (C170) I was all ready NOT looking foward to it. And so far I must say the redesign sucks like many feared. So I new Ford was getting back into the C-segment game with the Focus, making it again a world car. I like it. But it's going to be more upscale and more money. But who knows, this might be my next car that will complement the Fit. But gotta be a hatch!

Haha I think Ford is ahead of GM right now, but they are both on the right track. I have front row seats to this fight and I used to contract for GM, Ford and Chrysler.

On a side note my fiancee has a 03 Focus ZTS and its a major POS.

I have a soft spot for this car too. I had an '01 Zx3 for a long time before I got my Fit last year. I loved driving it. For its time, it was a great handling fun car, and it was offered when hatches weren't as widespread. Too bad it had a lot of quality issues, which I guess were mostly figured out a few years later.

Ford is looking strong right now. With this, the updated Fusion, the new Taurus, the Fiesta, possibly the Kuga replacing the Escape soon, and maybe other variants of the Focus like the C-Max coming soon, they are on the way to having a heck of a cool product line. Maybe the best across-the-board styling of anyone right now. Heck, even the Transit Connect is making a splash in its own unique way.

And that's fine. Post that are childish are the ones that say "Ford sucks", "GM sucks" "Honda sucks", "Saab sucks" etc... with out giving a reason.
