It's a real deal cf overlay...LOL. To be honest, I don't think the cost to have a custom mold and dry carbon dash produced would be worth the weight savings. The plastic dash cover really doesn't way much to begin with. It would make more sense to replace something heavy (like all 4 doors) with dry carbon pieces rather than something already made out of fiberglass/plastic...

This is 100% for cosmetics...and hawt day-um does it look good!!!

It's not that stick on material, it's actual carbon. I believe Makita said Rogue did this up for him.

555SapporoDrive is right....Rogue made the dash overlay. The price wasn't too outrageous for excellent craftsmanship!

JCrim...you know you gotta pay to play!! You can't get no honey without the money!!!

Thanks for the motivation fellas. Ive been pulling a bunch of extra shifts to make some money for the last few remaining parts.

I scored a set of 2006 RSX black cloth seats. If you've never seen them, google (or else just wait for me to post some!). I'm gonna pick them up tomorrow.

I still have to get K-pro later this month. Lastly, I'm tired of breathing in paint fumes and I think I'm just gonna get the car professionally sprayed.

As I've posted elsewhere...I've been getting back into some other hobbies (specifically boxing and working out) so that has taken some of my focus from the build. I will have some pics soon!

Well, I just picked up the seats and unpacked them. I didn't have time to snap any pics, but they look super clean and mint.

Here is a virtually identical set to give an idea:

The car is coming along nicely. I have got to say, it takes a LOT of commitment to do this. I also must admit, you have inspired me. Too bad I haven't made the same progress myself! I've go 10K of my warranty left. I begin buying parts and making my Christmas list... now! I'll PM you my ridiculous plans. BTW Prelude is going away. Too heavy and somewhat overdone here in Houston.
