Well credit is still due to you on the mirrors, you created the original and only later had JDP come up with the carbon model. Don't be too modest, take the compliment and hold your head up high. hahaha

This shibikku is going to be sick!!!

AWESOME BUILD SO FAR!

I really like the Acura EL swap, saw one or two of them before I moved from the metro Detroit area since Canada was so close you'd see stuff like that, that's using your head for sure!

Rep on the way!

Thanks KA...

It was a huge leap of faith to start cutting into the EL rear bumper...LOL

The rear diffuser is going to take a while to get it like I want it...fortunately fiberglass is a forgiving material, just so long as it doesn't break in half!

LOLOL

Moar progress on the diffuser...I really didn't like the "rounded off" look of the diffuser so I added some more glass and squared it off. I will clean up all the edges and add a smaller lip around the outside edge to give it a more polished look...

Here you can see how I squared off the side profile:

Take a look at fiberglassforums.com...look through all the DIY and projects. This is how I got the basic idea then just started getting my hands dirty!

Dude...I'm a total novice with glass. I just decided one day to jump off the high dive. If you can think it, you can make it.

My tools include a dremel multi-tool, an orbital sander (ABSOLUTELY NECESSARY FOR SHAPING THE FIBERGLASS), and that's about it...

The rough stage is easy...the hard part is the detail work with the glazing compound. You have to be OCD to get all the dips and valleys filled and even. Perseverance pays off.

Every time I try to work with fiberglass I get frustrated an quit Bc it usually comes out looking like shit. Maybe I'll have to try it again.
