buy a crv?

I'm looking at buying a crv, my moms nissan quest really needs to go as its being very problamatic lately. I found a 07 crv lx 4wd with 33k asking 15400. Hes the second owner and put on 6k on the last 20 months (he's a foreign student getting his masters at northwestern and they live in a somewhat college town/ritzy part of town but hes moving out of the country) But anyways, the 1st owner was a leasee from 06-10 and put around 26k total. Car looks great. exterior looks brand new, interior looks mint besides some minor wear and tear (they guy does have a 2 year old daughter) but overall I would give the car a 9/10 in quality.

I was looking at the gas mileage of a crv and it looks like it gives around 22ish mpg overall maybe 24 on a lucky day. isnt this the same thing as an rdx? how can a na 4 cylinder give the same gas mileage as an awd turbo 4? esp a turbo 4 that runs especially rich. At that point is it even worthwhile getting the cr-v when the rdx looks like a much better buy for a few grand more?

Also it has these weird tacky chrome wheel inserts. Are these oem or aftermarket?

Pretty sure those are aftermarket, as it looks like the factory LX steelies underneath. My brother's CRV has the same steels.
