This happens when I take my Civic out of park. Between park and reverse it sticks, almost like I've put it neutral. I have give it a little more force to get it moving again. This started about a month ago.

Is that a symptom of transmission slipping? Or something else? It doesn't do anything else weird. It stays in gear just fine once I can get it to drive.

 

i have the same issue with my 1996 civic, that it hard shifts between park and reverse
