Fiat 500 Abarth

I stopped by the local dealership and checked the Abarth out and it sure looked like it would be a blast to drive! In the end, it looks like it would be an impractical car to own as a primary vehicle but it does have fun written all over it.

Funny how when I got back into the Fit....it felt HUGE!

Something about the Abarth holds an allure to me as well. Yes they seem like they would be fun to drive but just not a practical car for me as I need the cargo room the Fit has.

I sat inside an Abarth at LA motor show few months ago.
The Abarth exterior looks nice, and I bet it is fun to drive,
but somehow I PERSONALLY think the interior is not as nice as Honda Fit interior... what do you think of the Abarth interior?

i've driven it. i will admit it is very fun! faster than the new civic si's. and since its so small you feel like you are going much faster. my favorite part was it had 3 modes for traction control. On so you couldnt burnout if you wanted. Semi on where you can burn out a little basically just chirp them for a second or so. and all the way off, where you can just sit there roasting the tires for however long you want basically. The interior was snazzy looking, but not that comfortable. I didnt like the setup for the shifter, and the clutch was like a hook.. hard to explain but it was weird. i also felt like if i were in an accident in a parking lot i would die.
otherwise cool car! but pricey for such a small vehicle.

I thought the interior was just OK but the seats were horrendous. Another thing that threw me for a loop was the $28,000 sticker!!

Yup zero fucks given after the test drive.

Slower than the Fit was at low boost with the GT25R.

How does it compare on the track with the Fit Sport, unmodified, anyone know?
