Ford ad that got attention

The Car

The Ad

'Should have never happened'

Ford says it's sorry for the Figo ads released in India promoting the generous trunk space of the car in a satirical way.
In one of the three pictures we see Paris Hilton winking behind the wheel of the car while in the trunk the Kardashian sisters are bound and gagged. In another picture ex Italian Prime Minister Silvio Berlusconi has three women also bound and gagged in the cargo area of the hatchback. In the last one, seven times Formula 1 world champion Michael Schumacher is holding captive three F1 champions: Fernando Alonso, Lewis Hamilton and Sebastian Vettel.
Following negative feedback and a wave of protests, Ford India said "we deeply regret this incident and agree with our agency partners that it should have never happened."

That was my remark to a Ford dealer when I looked into the trunk of the Ford 500 when it first came out.
