Right, 18 mins of hard core seat time including a honda fit passing exotics, vettes, miatas, lotuses, bmws, lamborginis, camaros, handling through on-camber and off-camber turns, staying on the edge every second of driving, diving into a turn from the straight at 117mph, driving ruthlessly through elevation changes all with 1.5 liters sounds like it wouldn't hold my attention at all.

Lets see some 30 second runs in a flat parking lot around some orange cones instead! Or some hard parking!

Glad to see you're taking the first steps to becoming a road racer. Do you want to really race in full competition or do you want to stick with restricted -passing track days. There's a HUGE difference. I watched your video and was curious as to which track configuration of TWS you were running. The 2.9 mile course? As near as I could tell your lap times were in the 2:30+ range. What was your actual best lap time?

Haha well thanks all!

My lap times are 2:20. My friends full race integra was a 2:25 and my friends miata was 2:15.

I have ran both CCW and CW at TWS. Yes 2.9 miles. I would love to wheel to wheel race. I've done more open track days then HPDE and in open track, everywhere IS a passing zone so I kinda got a little taste of dive bombing corners wheel to wheel and passing. Sooooo much fun. I've been doing this for about 2 years now and constantly learning and progressing. I race about 1ce every other month. I've been to a few tracks around the USA but mainly here in TX cause I live here. This summer me and my buddies are talking about seeing what is required to track Leguna Seca. (spelling*)

You would not believe how well the fit does on a RR track. Once I go K24 swap, the world will stand still haha.

Thanks all for viewing and stay tuned ^_^

Thumbs up

2:20's @ TWS on the 2.9 mile course? I know some guys that run their Spec Miatas there and they're lapping in the 2:02 - 2:05 range. A spec miata has about 115-118 WHP and has to weigh 2450 lb. I would think that your Fit (with all you mods) would be equivalent to the Miatas speed.

You can get better instruction at a NASA or SCCA event. I don't know what class your FIT runs in but you need to take the next step to class competition. It will really enhance your racing experiences. Typically the guys running track days are relatively slow (like the guy in the Lambo). I've seen so many inexperienced guys throw a lot of money at modding their cars to go faster assuming that they know how to drive fast. I say that you learn how to drive fast first.

Sanctioned road racing is so much more challenging because you are competing with drivers with a higher skill level than the guys you've been running with. This will push you to excel with you driving skills. So seek out your local NASA or SCCA and get involved there. I'll be staying tuned!

I love CCW much more. CCW is wayyyyyy faster and much more dangerous.

Dunlop Z1 star specs 195/50/15, TRMotorsports C1 15X7 et +42, toe = 0 all four corners, -2.0 camber in front, -1.6 rear.

I will go lower soon as my roll center adjusts come in. with out them right now, my front lower control arms are almost parallel with the ground. I also keep the factory rake as it is now. I will play with it soon and see what happens. The fit handles like a damn go kart out there. I have never driven a car that feels soooo raw. I <3

My fit is gutless. inside you will only find the dash, a steering wheel, a shifter, and 2 carbon kevlar buckets.

no air bags, no carpet, no panels, no head liner, no nothing. (all that crap is for sale if you guys need.)

Im going to weld in a 6 point roll bar soon. powder coat it orange too ^_^

Good job even out the rear toe & camber nicely. That's quite a bit of work to shim all that stuff but I think that's what I need to do before next season too, if I'm not going for coilovers.

So u meant u removed pass.front airbag also? Did u remove the dash to do that? It sucks that the fit weighs about the same as my old EM1(1200kg+) while it has much less power...and my friend's SOHC 92 civic hatch has around 970kg with full cage, stock ITR suspension & 5lugs.

Did u weigh your car after u gut all that stuff out?
