ive been on a few forums and it seems like people enjoy em and easy to talk to people in stead of messaging back and forth?

I Disagree about the Chatbox... It's annoying and in the way. it's like a bad post that people keep adding to as it always makes it's way to the top... another post along with the stickies and announcements that requires one to scroll even further.

As for the theory behind a chatbox... Isn't that what PMing is for? If it's not about a specific topic, it should be in the OT forum and if it is about a specific topic, it should have it's own thread.

IMO, it needs to be moved (the one in the GE forum) so that it is in the OT forum since it is essentially a threat that has completely gotten off topic (which is often why mods close a thread). calling it a "chat box" doesn't change what it really is; a thread gone awry.

I'd say move it or get rid of it.
