I really would like to see a signature size rule enforced.

So many occasions I'm waiting for photos to load when I find out it's someones huge ass signatures. It becomes annoying after a while and uses up bandwidth.

 

As an immediate solution to the problem, you could do what I did. Go to User CP > Edit Options and turn off Show Signatures under Thread Display Options. While you are at it, you can turn off Show Avatars as well. These changes should dramatically improve your performance.

 

Yeah, I had to do the same. I like knowing what someone drives, but I don't need to see a photo of it ever time they post so I turned off sigs and avitars soon after I registered here.

i dont see a configuration option in the forum settings to limit signature sizes. How do other forums handle this?

 

just ignore the signature simple
