Yep, bought them for the tires since the tires alone were worth more than he was asking. Just wanted 205/45/16 for the new Enkei Type II's I picked up. Figured I could sell these Rota's for cheap.

Oh and btw, the volks didn't materialize because they were fakes. I found them on ebay and got a great price (and won the auction) but found out they were fakes before I paid for them. Used this thread to help me http://i44.tinypic.com/35jw4xx.jpg. I almost bought a set of $851 rota grid's. lol

Real or Fake Volk TE37's - Honda-Tech

Post 15 specifically, the wheels I won on ebay had bolt holes that lined up with the spokes. Apparently, real TE37's don't.

CCM 7 will be located at the AAC(American Airline Center.) There is a $15 cover for the show cars, I'm not sure about the rest of the cars, but the proceeds go to charity.Name: CCM7_MayflyerFINAL.jpg

Nice rides, on another forum I used to visit a British guy had similar MX-5 as yours. Had a red Eunos with I believe were black/chrome lipped 15x8 XXR (Sportmax) 002s with stretched tires, lowered with the fenders rolled and pulled, 4 point roll bar/cage, the same lip as your's, 4-2-1 header, a cat back, and painted the roof cover and painted the windshield bars flat black.

It was one sick 1.6 but he smacked the rear end of it on a pole in a round about while giving a potential buyer a test drive.

What year is your MX5 and what engine does it have?

I have a 1.8L with a FM turbo kit (GT2560R) @ 10.5 PSI. There is quite a bit done to it. Fun driving it down here in TX. Oh and it's a 97'.

Nice Miata. I'm really liking this Texas weather right now. A combination of cool temps and my oil being broken in pretty well now makes for a *decently* accelerating Fit!

Yeah it's freaky. I was outside around noon, came inside too cool down, went back out and it was cooler outside than under the A/C inside.... I had to go to Lowe's and Auto Zone in the old truck and drove with the windows down and it was great.... I am glad the wind is always somewhat from the west and even more so if the Gulf suddenly burst into flames..... I will be installing the High Boost Kit starting tomorrow and doing some other stuff while it is down..... Hoping to be able to drive it to San Antonio for Memorial Day if I don't run to low on money before I'm through.

Good luck Tex, wish I had the privilege of taking on a job like that. I'd probably mess up a few times, but it's always more rewarding when you DIY. Can't wait to see the finished product.

Somehow I will hook up with you in the future and let you experience it..... I think it is going to make for a nice little street sleeper like it is already but better..... I may do some cosmetic enhancement next year if I am able..... I have a chubby 13 year old neighbor who is a farm boy and a wizz at giving me a hand when I need it so I won't have to strain my back and knees...... I just hope he doesn't show up with his girl friend or 16 year old cousin, they are individually hell to put up with and if both show up it will be a lost cause.

I'm kinda down I'm so far away from any of the big cities. I'm way out in San Angelo, so a pretty long drive to do anything.
