Oh ok, that is understandable; especially, when you include your recent body shop repair too. But believe it or not, the rims I have are actually pretty cheap now (considering other rim prices). They were $100 a wheel before the $100 rebate during November of '07 and now are $90 a wheel at discount tire.

Yeah, I didn't plan to have to repair my fender...#&(*&$^*&!@) I had to have it done before I leave town, or it'd be that way for months.

$90/per wheel huh? Hmmmmmm....let's see...maybe a belated Mother's Day present...Or early Christmas gift....

Tell me again what they are, the size, offset, etc. I am stupid when it comes to rims.

They are 15" x 6.5" Konig Quiz with a +40 offset. They do not rub or anything at stock height with the factory 195/55R15 tire even with a heavy load in the back.

Nope, I'm over those now. At first I wanted white rims, then I thought about gun-metal, now I'm all into the black with chrome look.

Marcus, your rims are nice and all but not for me! I'm sure you will sell them soon.

I think black and chrome lipped rims aren't a bad look so long as the vehicle is not over board with either the black (or some other dark color) and/or chrome on the vehicle itself.

black wheels and chrome lips just look like 2 metal circles rolling down the road. Pitch black inside the wheels.

Pretty much.

A lot of cars (around here at least) have such wheels and are often murdered out. Which is something I'm not too much of a fan of, but of course people mods their cars to their liking.

Edit: Juliane; is that a possum in your aviator?

My wheels are also from Discount Tire. They were a little more per wheel but not by much. 17" tires are a bit more $$$ than 15". I paid under $900 for wheels and tires 6-8 mos ago. I bought them for my Civic and they went right on the Fit the day I bought it. No rubs not even close. 205/40/17 tires. If I had it to do over I'd get 18" since I didn't lower it. Lowering is way down on the priority list... right after installing what looks like the Mugen kit if it's still available when I have $1600-$2000 to toss at it. That will take at least 6 mos. Oh well... Oh yeah I know the Mugen kit will require bumper swap and fog lights. That's why I say up to $2000.

Its all good, the USDM Mugen Kit for the GE8 isn't too bad. The front lip kind of kills it for me though. If the Mugen kit had this lip for the GE8 minus the diffuser like edges, it would look so much better

I guess I should have specified I was talking about the one for USDM thru Honda Accessories. After pricing it out on multiple dealers sites I found at best $1600 + whatever it takes to get the bumper/fogs done... College Hills has a great video how-to section that shows how to install each piece. Every site says the kit is a limited production though so I am afraid I'll run out of time... I need 6 mos...
