The Mugen Fit our dealer built is in for service today...looks the owner who purchased it hates it. Dirty as bawlz, bumper popped out of place, and big ole' crack in the lip.

Sounds like my car.. I just reattached my bumper on one side did the other side earlier..... It is the ridiculously long USDM bumper that causes the clearance problem by messing up the approach angle.... JDM cars don't have this problem.

If they insist on us having these ridiculous bumpers they need to design laser sensing devices into them that signals when ever a situation occurs that will cause the lip to scrape and have it retract about 4". Damned silly styling gimmicks, I wish I had gotten the base model.

Nah, they need to figure out a way to teach nimrods how to get out of a car's way and avoid being hit on foot.

Oddly enough I haven't been receiving updates from this thread. BUT. I was told by marcus that on Jan 22nd CupCake Meet #9 is planned to be held in WACO, TX.

Of course they would do something like this after I leave. I'm planning to go and most of my crew is already requesting off so we might be rolling in force from louisiana. Just wanted to give the heads up incase the word hasn't made it this far. There is nailing down the details. But the 22nd is a for sure date. Just an FYI.

The closest I get to one of those is a bad hangover, and I've pretty much cut that part of the equation out of my life. Sorry to hear. A real migraine, which I've also had, is excruciating.

First one I've ever had... but had all the symptoms. Mom has them all the time. Even had the precursor to it, but didn't realize what it was until after. Shortly after I woke up today I had a blind spot in my right eye which apparently is a precursor to a migraine.

Yeah, I've had that. I get tunnel vision and ringing in my ears. Hope they don't start showing up more with your predisposition to them.

You and me both. It's amazing how a little artery opening and putting pressure on a nerve can cause so much pain.

Just a heads up for those interested in CCM #9. According to the CCM facebook page, the event has been pushed back to February 5th for its 2nd anniversary and they are trying to find a location in Austin since CCM was started there.

Hey guys,

Just joined the forum and have been looking for a car for several months now. I've been back and forth between several cars (Prius, Insight, others) and over the past couple of days settled on a Fit.

Tonight, I began looking on ebay, autotrader, recycler, craigslist, and this forum for a white/black/charcoal AT under $10k.

I would really appreciate it if anyone would give me a PM or reply if they see a matching Fit for sale at a good price. I don't know the market that well yet so I'm still trying to gauge what is a good price and what isn't.

Thank you guys in advance! I hope to be a true member of the forum when I actually own a Fit

Also still deciding between base and sport. Sport seems to command quite a premium even in the used market. Do you guys think it's worth it? Would I be able to buy a base and change some stock parts with aftermarket and have my own sport version?
