Meh... the rep system is overrated now. Its to a point were a new person can come in and receive one positive or negative rep and their level either sky rocket or plummet like crazy.

A simple 1 count (for everyone) applaud and smite system would have been better than this rep system. Even if that were to be put in use... I wouldn't care about it. Just another number to me.

 

Numbers are only a small part of the truth and generally wrong because they can always be manipulated... The older I get the more I realize that most of the time less is more because the higher figure is probably a lie or irrelevant... I would offer examples if thinking about them didn't piss me off so much.

 

I'm ready for another meet.

edit: yall had a meet? Austin folks should try to get something coordinated. There are probably like 4 of us? Dunno.

 

That's the beauty of it. Our last meet was in Tyler and we had one come up from Austin. If you Austin folks host one, I will attend. Actually I'll pretty much attend anywhere as long as it's within a 6 hour drive.

 

Yep... Happened on the 19th of August if I remember right. Was a pretty rad day.

I'm definitely down for an Austin meet so long as it falls on a Sunday. Heard that there are some great driving roads over there.

I've seen a bunch of Fits around here, but they're all stock and generally driven by old folks /: I'm stock, but not old.

Every now and then you'll spot one of us out in the wild... we're mostly spread out throughout the state now it seems.

What year, trim, and color is your Fit?

 

A future meet around central Texas sounds good! Maybe meet somewhere in central Austin proper, then caravan out to the hill country's scenic, curvy roads. I know of several which would provide some thrills!
Since we'd be central, perhaps some Fits from DFW, Houston, and SA could make it too without spending too many hours just to arrive. With the opening of toll road 130, folks in San Antonio could make it in 30 minutes at 85 MPH...if they're so inclined!

 

I don't know if anyone was out earlier, but I showed up to CCM this week at like 6 from Killeen. It was a lot smaller than I was expecting. My wife got a good picture in for me though.



Got some new HIDs coming soon too.

*Edit* as long as the meet is before december I am down for a meet in Austin, I'm like an hour north.
