Texas Fits, Anything goes thread
Welp, no one showed which sucks... BUT I still had fun at Track 21. :P
Didn't ride the karts this visit (a bunch of kids/slow drivers on course most of the day) so I hung out in the arcade room most of the time.
Here's a shot of half the track there.
Then as I was dominating Wangan Midnight (Maximum Tune 3), this happened after making a 580 hp FD RX7. Which seemed like a good cue to leave the area. haha

Damn. Lol That's sweet! Sucks I couldn't go, or that nobody made it! I think weather was mosts enemy. I had a sick kid, ugggggh, Oh well, if any of u are into high performance driving and drifting There's a drift event at gulf greyhound park out on 45south. The dog track, not the horse track!!!!! It's usually full of drivers and attendees. It's Sunday Mar.24 from 9am till dark most likely. $10 bucks gets u in and u can come and go as u like for food and whatnot. Usually some nice cars hardparking as well as driving. Its the round 1 of the lonestar drift series 2013 and the nst 10yr anniversary event. I'll definitely be there, anyone else is welcome!

Hey, its ok that you couldn't make it. Family always comes first dude. Surprisingly once I got onto Beltway 8 just outside of Pearland there was no rain what so ever... just bad drivers in the way. :P
Even at Track 21 and Freebirds, there was signs that it had rained but it had already passed and was heading towards Beaumont.
As for the drifting event, I'm highly tempted to go but that would make me want a Starion or FC RX7 more. haha I know a guy that should be running his Lexus SC300 (I think that's it) there and may go to show support and shoot pics... nothing set in stone yet though.

I didn't sign up because I knew I most likely wouldn't make it, though I wanted to go to Houston again, haven't been in quite a while now. I was even going to suggest you move it to a week later so I could hit up Cupcake Meet in San Antonio and then this meet the next day, but I didn't want to mess up plans and make people reschedule stuff lol.
Anyone here want a Top Fuel intake for GD3? Just the body, no filter or couplers. I bought it and was going to buy everything to run it but I'd rather sell.

Hope you don't get discouraged though man, it's just that our car is still new to the US and just does not have a huge following, unless you're out in SoCal lol. Also, TX is just so huge, it's tough to get good meet together here.

True talk. I suggest until our cars get a bit more established in Texas, we just feed off of and meet up at other meets and events! Usually plenty of them going on and if u go and no other fits show at least it's a meet or event already happening and still a good time! FitFreaks can mooch off other meets and events till we catch up! Haha
Ooh, man. Work has been driving me insane!
As I was saying in my previous post, I couldn't quite understand why the meet was a complete no show. I know things come up at the last minute (which some people on the list gave me a heads up about prior to the meet) but for the other's that didn't give any updates is very disappointing.
And I do agree with you on the distance between members here in Texas, we're all spread out a good bit... BUT... from what I've been noticing most (not all though) members are usually either in the San Antonio, Dallas/Ft. Worth, or Houston areas. Depending on how you look the distance between two of those three cities, its a range of approximately 200 to 300 miles depending on the city and not focusing on an exact address which doesn't seem too bad of a trip... Then again, maybe that's me being used to driving/navigating much longer trips than that.
