I've talked to that guy on hondacivicwagon.com. Goes by Gm0_WagoVanMan. I tried to get him to come to the Track 21 meet. He's the one that had the Del Sol VTEC for sale. If you read his thread, he just finished it the night before the meet...

And besides, how can you give him crap about having a dirty valve cover when he has that beautiful wire tuck staring right at you! Clean Swap FTW!!

Yes that is a clean swap. The wire tuck makes it look great. I'd love to do that to my engine. All the little wires n junk in my car makes my engine bay look so cramped.

Maybe he just got done tucking it? Was exhausted from the work already done? Or exhausted from the trip? And if I know those covers, it's not that easy to get oil stains out.

So how is everyone? Last night I had a huge storm come by. I lost power at home from sometime when I was sleeping until I left for work. (showering in the dark is no fun) Temperature isn't cold today. I kind of wish it was.

We didn't have hard rain but it was steady most of the day. My car looks like crap today but I don't want to wash it in case it rains again later. I guess you guys up north caught more of the thunderstorms, where we just had rain. It's warm and gooey today, more like our usual fall weather.

That guy's engine bay looks like half the parts are missing. What the heck did he do with all the wires and junk??? I know the car is older so it doesn't have some of the stuff ours do, but still.

He carefully hid the wires to make it look better. Some things should be missing like power steering. That is considered a wild mod. It makes the engine bay look so clean. Here are some more examples

It's called a wire tuck. What they do is make most of his lines/wires longer so he can hide them in the fenders and down low so you can't see them. Looks like an old hot rod if you ask me. Super Clean!

Well, if you can't stand having the TPMS light on all the time just have the guys at the tire shop swap them onto the rims being installed. At least thats what was done with my Konigs. However if one of those buggers break that it costs around 70 bucks to buy from a site like benardiparts, plus the dealer cost for installing and syncing the sensor.

I would love to see a Fit with a wire tuck, true skills will be needed. Our engine bays are so small it's not going to be easy.

there are somethings you could do as it is right now that would make it look like you free'd up a lot of room. AKA the battery, windshield resivior hose and the harness on the passenger side
on the way to honda tech meet
