Still haven't had a chance to take pictures yet - I work 3rd shift and I'm about to fall asleep - but I just got back from getting my windows tinted (35 all around, done at Mother's on I-35 & 290).

It looks very nice on the white Fit, and even more importantly, blocks a good chunk of the heat. I could definitely tell the difference on the drive home.

I got the 3M Color-Stable, mainly because it has a full lifetime warranty (from 3M, not Mother's) against discoloration, etc - the last thing I want is blistering, purple windows on my nice white Fit . It cost a smidge under $200, before tax.

When I took the car in they said it'd take four hours - when they called me after only two I was afraid something had gone horribly wrong, but they just finished early . The salesperson said mine was the first Fit he'd seen.

I wouldn't mind coming to a meet, but I work weird hours and days, so we'll see.

Hey, I also got my car tinted at mothers in San Antonio. I used 3M metal tint 35% all around except the rear. Cost me $211 after tax. They didn't tint the small A-pillar windows.

Finally took some pictures, in the parking lot across the street from my house (bonus points if you can figure out where that is ).

Pictures are posted in this thread.

This one's my favorite - the angle of the light makes the window seem a lot darker than it actually is:

I'm going to be flying R/C planes at Murchison Middle School on Farwest BLVD. This Sunday around Noonish. So if you cruise that way, my car will be parked on the street.

Heh, that's literally across the street from my house. The picture in my sig is in the Doss parking lot.

I work Sunday evening, but I may see if I can get up early and head over for a bit.

Lets hang out at the Honda Dealer lot..hahaha

A good lot I know of is Mansfield Dam. We can park next to the Dam but there's no lights.

How bout Dave and Busters??? I'd also like to go to Mozarts, drink coffee and just bullshizzle..
