i dont think there is a code anymore, i think the radio is tied to the ecu so you cant just swap it.

No the bulb was not working, and after many hours at a smaller repair shop-the one that came up with the faulty MICU idea- and the dealer’s first try to replace a fuse, the light bulb fix worked like...

Sounds like a good plan. :thumbups: I'd throw the old ones in the boot just in case the new ones snap. That way you can at least limp it home/to the mechanic.
We have a week of rain forecast, so it will be a while before I get to them. My garage is full of "stuff."
