Official fit meet in wa.
Brakes I'm doing some research on since I only have 7,000 miles, I don't want to switch anything out yet.
Brakes are a very important aspect of suspension. I see how you drive Eric........brakes are a good investment for you.
There are a lot of options for brakes out there. I would recommend bypassing a bbk and just look to replace the oem rotors, pads, lines and fluid. Since your Fit is not a track only car the need for bbk is really............nil. Twin blocks wouldn't hurt down the road but for now you could get away with swapping out the essentials for under 450 bucks.
An example of my setup and cost:
DBA(Disc Brakes Australia) 4400 series slotted rotors: $253
Hawk HPS Performance Brake Pads: $80
T1R Stainless braided lines: $110
Motul Brake Fluid: $15
Total: $458

Yummy thats what I wanted when I first got my Fit. I'd really like the J's set up as well.
well i will get the spoon and you get the j's and we can compare notes...... now someone else has to get the mugen since they are all showa but built to each companies specs...
dont get coils eric. they are really over rated and unless you plan on corner balancing your car or constantly adjusting it.
i would just go with the simple showa strut and spring setup. its way more than most people would ever need and showa has already R&D'ed the crap out of them so its bulletproof.
king motorsports lists them for a gd3 at $1793.

I'm trying to look up more info on the showa set up. I'll talk to you more about it next weekend. I don't plan on dropping my car till next year so hopefully I don't kill my tires anytime soon so I can just get new rims and tires after I drop my car.
Does anybody know anything about this?

those are showa's personal sport suspension.
the j's, spoon, and mugen are basically modified versions of the showa sport suspension. i dont think anyone is running the red or blue showa in usa.

if you can speak japanese.....
im not all about the dropped look but out for the practicality of lowered center of gravity.
