im looking at all the specs and have calculated out that i can almost rev to 8000rpm but im not too sure how safe that would be.

i need to get ahold of top fuel to see what they did to make their fit motor spin to 7800rpm and lay down 134hp at the wheels.

i really dont car what it costs because i will be the only guy with it and it will sound rather bad ass!!!

btw i have lost my mind...... i have just been so curious of what the l15a is capable of and no one is willing to push the limits except gd3kamiwanaB and he is running a crazy FI setup.

Kyler you going to be running the gixxer itbs?

I think he meant 140-150 to the wheels.

But what engine management you plan on running? Piggy back or standalone? If you plan on going all out you might want to look into standalone so you can tune your idle right since it would be hard with piggyback.

its looking like a piggyback on top of the jdm ecu since they can be flashed.

im gonna have to say goodbye the dbw unless i use the brand new zx-14 throttle bodies.

im actually not sure which itb i will use... i have contacted toda to help me with the build but the japanese dont like shipping things over seas.

twm will probably be my next contact for a custom set of throttles.

TWM make some nice ITBs though so that wouldn't be a bad choice.

I'm down to lend a helping hand if you ever need it when you are building up the motor.

You should look into the AEM EMS or talk to Hondata about making a standalone for the L15 motor.

ITBS on a GD1...sexy

link didnt work for me....
YouTube - Honda Fit?GD1?itbs(Individual throttle bodies) Engine room

i dont like the fact that they used the stock intake runners... i would just make the radiator lean and run 48 degree itb off the side.

im not sure exactly what size yet but im looking for probably more mid range power since its a street car.

wonder what will happen to my gas mileage after i do this.

I say go for it. This is actually the route I wanted to go but with such little stateside support for the L15 I scrapped it rather quick. However I don't know how long I'm gonna be putting more money into my Fit. Sheila gave me the green light to start working toward my NSX. The lease on her car is up in 12 months and she said she didn't mind taking the Fit.

Any first gen. Probably a 91 or 92 just for the cost though.

You got to do the headlight conversion since the last gen looked super sexy with no flip up lights.

Type R NSX looks so nice, but that would be a lot to do the conversion.

What time are we meeting for the tech meet?

lol sorry kyler, but good luck. I have dealth with the evo crew for years. they'll be cool to your face but when it comes time to have a meet you won't get but a couple people who are actually decent to show up.

The Mirage guys couldn't even get them to come out regularly for our meets and we were driving older brothers of what they drive.

Hopefully they treat you better than they did us.

there were only 4 guys there. they were the regular crew and they were bitter toward their fellow evo guys.

some other guy was their in a fairlady with an sr20 swap...

apparently they are using nwmotoring.com as their forum for making meets.

do you by chance remember names? There are a few that were always really cool but most think they are the cream of the crop.

It's been awhile so I don't remember names off hand but I'm sure if I heard them they would ring a bell. There was a guy with a silver MR IX named James. He was really cool.

Just an FYI. Possible part out coming soon. If any of you are interested in parts I would give the PNW discount.

I'm massaging a dealer in Louisiana right now on a NHBP 92 NSX.

I would be interested in a couple of things but I have no money to mod right now. Good luck with the purchase hopefully things work out.

We should start the tech meet at 1pm.
