I want to know when as well? I am all for it after I get some tires and a showa suspension set up and some new brakes. So hopefully you are talking about next year for me.

I talked to King Motorsports and they said that they stock the Mugen showa set up and its in the $1,200 which isn't too bad. So hopefully by spring next year I will be riding nicely.

I want the lower one, between the mugen and j's racing though which one is going to lower the car more and which one makes the car handle better?

Its 1,300 in the link but if I was to get it I would hope they send me the showa ones and not the black ones. Has anybody bought anything from inlinefour.com?

If that is what King quoted for the Mugen, that definitely isn't bad. I just might have to look into that setup for the GD. I'm growing very tired of worn stock shocks and soft df210 springs. It's definitely been an improvement but nowhere near as stiff as I would like.

Oh, my rotors came in yesterday so pics shall come soon.

I think they quoted me on the Sport Suspension and not the 5-way adjustable ones. Either way I will probably go with either J's Racing or Mugen next year unless you go with J's Mike then I will be stuck with Mugen so at least we all can be balling and see whose set up is better. I wish their was more GE's in Washington modding their cars so I don't have feel left out all the time looking at your GD's with nice parts.

then you got mine... that's been "modded" with stock parts due to unforseen things.

That's how my old car was didn't mod it all but threw wheels on to have it get messed up during an accident. Knock on wood my Fit has better luck.

im not sure if i will be a good person to compare suspension with because im getting some custom spring rates to handle the greater weight of the k motor and i will be doing so extra bracing....

mike you need to put a supercharger on yours so we can see how each lays down the power...

What extra bracing are you planning on?

im thinking of stitch welding everything in front of the fire wall and all the pillars.

maybe a custom roll cage. there are definately some weak areas in the gd3 chassis that honda fixed in the ge8 that i will have to improve.

im not gonna run a full track setup but i want to be able to turn on a dime.

I would have already had one if yuckfoo didn't flake twice. I was ready to go forward with our deal but then he went the "dibs" route and both times didn't work out for him.

it's amazing what happens when you don't follow the damn dibs route.

well keep bugging him about it. i bought my spoon strut bar off him. good guy to deal with.....

but now onto something a little more interesting.....

i scrapped the k20 build for now. i would be on a waiting list for spoon to build my motor and it would not even be here for about 6-8 months and getting a bill with a question mark made me wonder soooooo.......

im going to be the first guy to do a fully built NA L15a motor.

my plans are to get a jdm ecu since they can be reflashed and tuned.
next will be a cam and custom valvetrain but some guys up here i know.
then i will balance and bore out the block so the bottom end will be a little more square for the better revving.

and lastly im doing a massive ammount of research on running ITBs on this...

now according to what i have seen so far i should be able to reach somewhere around 140-150hp range and keep it a daily driver.

anyone have any input they would like to interject with?

140-150hp, how high would that rev? i bet it'd sound sick but hmmm would it be worth the investment?
