We've been staying away from getting a cat b/c my FIL is allergic...but right now, I'm thinking a whole damn herd of long-haired cats might be good...

And our dog LOVES kittehs...she really does...I guess she must have had one in her previous home. She goes bouncing up to them and they FREAK out on her every time. Maybe we'll get her a kitteh for Christmas this year. Would solve the FIL problem once and for all.
Yeah I really wouldnt mind leaving the cats behind I wonder how my mom would feel about having 3 cats since she already has one lol. I REALLLY want to do this. I need to get the fuck out of FL.
do it. im glad i got out of CA. never looking back.

You'll love TX. Austin is an awesome place for outdoor sports and stuff. Old and new hippies aside, it's a great town. We used to go up there quite a bit when the kids were young, just to hang out and have a change of scene.

Oh, DUH! Yeah you prolly can't change a tire yourself! :P Big ol suckers....I saw a truck full of HUGE tires the other day....Like the mining truck tires...gi-normous...

Austin is the live music capital of the U.S..... It is getting expensive to live there now but in the 70s there was no place in the country better to be....I would like to be tubing down the Guadalupe right now with a beer in one hand and a doobie in the other.
Yea I make 31% of what the truck makes. It averages out to around 22-26 a hour, depending on the loads and stuff..
Years ago it was easy to work 16 hours a day, but now with the economy the way it is, there's not much construction going on.

We are still building here in Texas, because half of the east coast has moved down here!!!
Come on down here and get to work! (course we also have a hella bunch of illegals who work too cheap)
Coyote, you can't smoke doobs out in the open any more! You are incorrigible. You'll get Cody busted.
Even in Austin, smoking of any kind is looked askance at...
One of the best/worst memories my kids have is when we were up in New Braunfels, we were staying at a condo development and the Guadalupe ran right by it...the floaters were interesting....One skinny old woman we saw...too much time in the sun, too many smokes and too much booze...Her whole body looked like an old baseball glove...really nasty...like one of those mummified corpses that's been in permafrost for like 10,000 years....
