i need the shifter as close to the steering wheel as possible for racing.

its the fastline shifter. shits expensive tho but i wouldnt be able to reach a short throw in my car the way the steering wheel is positioned.
i did not see pics of your EF, but your link doesnt work for me because i have a different layout than the default. post them again

Your dad has obviously shown you he loves you and you have no need to rebel and become a source of pain to your parents.
I'd adopt you in a minute, but your parents are doing a great job!

I have really no idea what to tell him.
you're in the music biz right kelso? my 16 year old wants to "do something" with his music but doesn't know where/how to start. Suggestions? He plays guitar, keyboards. He doesn't read music any more but can pick up songs by ear. He's not bad, actually but there are a lot of "not bad" people out there.
I have really no idea what to tell him.

Get him professional lessons? Get him a recording setup for your home computer? Get him a youtube.com account and a webcam/mic.

He's had guitar lessons but says he's not interested in getting any more b/c he doesn't need them (ego of a 16-year-old). Do people really get anywhere with YouTube?
