so hot out. no ac. then thunderstorms. getting rained on bc my bed is near under a window. gahhh didnt get to sleep til around 3-4.

 

I feel sorry for you guys up north when it's really hot/humid - and you don't have AC. We could never have settled the whole South w/o AC. I'd never live here - really couldn't do it. When we were without power for almost 72 hours after Ike, my older son started having breathing problems, I was getting ready to leave the area when our power came back on. He's had mild asthma fo years and he could not stay healthy w/o air conditioning.

You could get your sheets wet...it helps a little.

 

too early in the year to be putting the ac in. gf's car read 101 yesterday, not sure if that was accurate or what the temp was with the humidity. When it started to rain in the window, it was mixed feelings. It felt nice but would have soaked everything if i didnt close the wondows. Then when you close the windows, it gets even hotter and more stuffy and the ceiling fan wasn't doing a thing.

 

If u need a window unit let me know. I'm selling mine BC my apartment has central air

 

we have 5-6 units, just havent put them in yet. Still too early, but if its gonna stay this hot, ill have to put them in.

i have no idea. the gf was complaining about going to the beach all weekend. She doesnt understand the traffic and the mass amounts of people that will be there. And she gets to fall asleep on the car ride there and back.

How much you want for the window unit? My brother has one I can use but all it really does is dry out the air, not much cooling effect with it.

hell no. only time she can drive my car is when ive had too many beers. i would be too scared to fall asleep with her driving.

 

thats how i feel about a woman driving my car! they have no respect for lowered cars with nice wheels.

 

i told her if she ever curbed my wheels to put the car in park, get out, walk away and to not contact me for a long time.

 

thats when you teach her in a parking lot. thats what i did with my chick but she didnt know how to drive standard well so we started around the parking lot then to the street.

Then her car broke.. she started daily driving it.

Here's the kicker. After being together for 5 years, She goes from a 88 Camry to a brand new ap2. .. I took the s2k to a.show and left her my GMC Sonoma just to get home. It was a 10 min commute. . She freaks out, BC its ratty and dirty. Huge fight ensues,we break up in front of my dad. He gets into it with me, gets nasty , kicks me out.
