I agree.... Having a Miata that you can't drive due to lack of ground clearance would be a like dating a nun.l

 

you do know an ls1 swap would cost like 15K lol and a turbo 1.8L miata will make much more power than any of the s/c setups.

And really, a v8 no matter what the price is, is worth having in a tiny Miata. If you had one, I'm sure it would make you smile every time you started it up.

 

^ Agreed. For something like Miatas or s2k's, I actually prefer having an S/C on the track over a turbo any day of the week. The power band works so much better for those cars and doesn't upset their balance as much as a turbo does. Just my experience, though.

What? Dirt track stock car wheels? I had some 5 hole wheels like that I used on the street on a 3800lb van. 15"X8" weighing 13lbs they tweaked like the back wheel on a Murray bicycle in no time. They are OK on a 1500lb car that races on loose surfaces.
